Dear ARG Members,
We know it is hot hot hot, the royal baby has been born and of course Murray won Wimbledon but do not let all of this excitement deter you from coming to our next ARG meeting!
We have three fantastic people coming in to share thoughts about their research and their development of their clinical services for people with aphasia:
Dr Celia Woolf is talking about her remote aphasia therapy study very topical in these economic times
Fiona Johnson is talking about her MPhil work uncovering the magic therapeutic ingredients behind Better Conversations with Aphasia Therapy – a subject close to Firle’s heart!
And finally, we have Roisin Reade an extremely proactive and enthusiastic SLT from Colchester who is going to talk to us about her plans to transform her hospital and surrounding area into an aphasia friendly environment using conversation partner training it will be great to hear from a someone who is putting research into clinical action, especially any tips she has about getting funding from commissioners for projects like this.
So having heard all this, how can you resist?
