Dear ARG members,

Join us for an afternoon of stimulating discussion at our FIRST MEETING IN 2016!

Make sure you secure yourself a ticket by following this link:

We have an exciting line-up including:

–  Anneline Huck (City University) will present on her recent PhD research project “Patterns of silent reading in aphasia: Insights from the analysis of eye movements

–  Vitor Zimmerer (UCL) will talk about his current work onWhen sentences are treated like words: Language formulas in aphasia”

–  Tadhg Caffrey and Ros Yu (UCL) will be updating us on “Public Engagement at UCL” and further title on PPI to be confirmed

And of course there will be plenty of opportunities to make new links for 2016 over refreshments!

Looking forward to seeing you there!

New year, New look!

You may have noticed that ARG has officially merged with the Centre for Speech and Language Intervention Research (CSLIR). In view of this, we have decided to continue to collect a small donation of 2 GBP to maintain our funds. This will enable us to continue to invite speakers from further away and to provide refreshments for our attendees.

  1. Hi

Will you be publishing these presentations? My Dad, 87, has almost total post stroke jargon aphasia. I’m sure he is reading but st seems not to have a way of measuring what or how we can help improve – I’d be so interested to read Ms Huck’s paper.

    Thanks, Maggie Bellwood

    1. Dear Maggie,
We usually do upload all the presentations (with the presenters consent) to the website for anyone who could not make it to the meeting. Have a look at the “past presentations” section of the website a week or so after the event. Thank you for your interest.
      Anna and Claudia (ARG coordinators)
